FHE

We had family home evening at our apartment this past Monday. The group was all the couple temple missionaries, so we had several questions that we asked and had them answer the questions. Some of the questions we asked were, "what was the first car that you drove", "what was your favorite TV program", "were you ever lost when you went on a trip" and "was there someone you wanted to date but never did". We have been working on a book with questions like this that a family member gave us many years ago and hope to have it done when we return home after this mission. The goal was to encourage everyone to write something about themselves for their posterity. The lesson was more for us than anyone else. We had a fun time.

Don't be alarmed by the pictures of the hospital where the area office likes missionaries to go to if there is a need. The only reason we went to the hospital on Tuesday this week is because Bubs was asked to drive the Thompson's to his doctor appointment so President Thompson would know how to get there and back again. President Thompson had been in the hospital because he got cellulitius (sp?)on his leg.

Other than that, we are working ourselves out of a job at the temple. There are 20 stakes in the City of Guatemala and it has been decided that the people from the city can support the temple by supplying all the ordinance workers that are needed. So, we have been training the local people all the responsibilities and letting them take over. I think we mentioned that we have been doing a lot of training in the last post or two. They are learning very fast. We are at the point where we have to look for work to do. Sometimes that is harder to do than to just do the usual work that is required.
